DAY 16:
Today as i walked to the hotel after school. I saw that a mother is allowing her son to pee on the pathway outside of the school.I think that the chinese people have not developed a culture of cleanliness where they should bring their children to the toilet to the toilet if the child needs to pee.Because after 2 weeks of being in China, i see that the toilets in China is horrible! The government should do something about the cleanliness of the state. Because, what i think is that China would be a much better place to live in, if it is much cleaner. Even at the roadside, sometimes we can even smell the stench of shit from the sewages. To solve this problem, is to really educate the younger generations of China to be more clean. This would help to increase their social behavior in a much better way. One small thing such as allowing their child to pee on the roadside or by not flushing the toilet bowl after use would allow other people to follow along, thus the toilet would be so stink and dirty. So, i really thank the singapore government for educating us singaporeans to be 'clean and green', thus our country is always clean, which foreigners would be more attracted to our country, which helps to boost our country through the tourism sector.THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

DAY 15:
Today i had my APPG test. I hoped i was able to do well in it! anyways, today we went on a Bus trip to the sino-singapore park where singapore helps china to build a plot of land for them while china provides land and labour. As i was thinking today when i was in the bus, i thought that how can china become so economically succesfull in such a short while just because of china's and manpower. However, what i thought was it wasnt because of the land and manpower that makes them so successful, its because of china's will power of wanting to learn from other nations. The people here are always wanting to learn about others. One example would be the that China wants Singapore to teach them how we build our country so successfully, China wants to know! The learning spirt in the people helps them to build them up! In Singapore, its sad to say that the people here takes thing for granted and always complaints to the government. We as Singaporeans should learn from China to have this Learning attitude, that is why the singapore government is wanting singaporeans to have this thing called 'life long learning"! DAY 14:
Today we went to sing the KTV at some hotel. Its was really fun as our chinese buddies went there with us too! Everyone was having so much fun and i realise that the chinese people do know how to have a break between their studies too(: Because in Singapore we usually see the chinese students as those very hardworking and studious type. However, our buddies proved us wrong! I was able to see that they know how to set time for studies and for play. I want to learn from my chinese buddies to manage play and studies well as i know that sometimes i might be too carried away when i play and have too much fun. Though nothing much really happened today, its a important lesson for me to have this thing called Time Management.
Today was our last day of revising for our APPG test. We learned to help each other and we studied together. I see the determination in others when one wants to learn something. We must not only have determination during studying for our test but have determination for everything we do or want to do. I believe why those that are millionaires are always the most determine ones. Because they dont give up when a problem arises. I learn today that even the most mundane day teaches me one of the most important values in life that would really affect my life.THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

DAY 12:
Today i learnt that there are many cyclists in china. I think that the Chinese are environmentally friendly on the roads as most people ride bikes and China even have a cyclists road at every main road! I feel that Singapore should encourage their citizens to be more like the chinese and to promote people to ride bicycles instead of talking a cab or bus now(: Oh and today i also learnt that one of my friend almost got pickpocket by one of the locals there. Luckily, he was alert enough to notice someone wanted to pickpocket him. From this, i learn to be more careful of my belongings when i am in a foreign country.THAT.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

DAY 11:
Today we got to learn about the appreciation of tea. Its was an eye opener for me to learn about how to drink tea. While, i learn to appreciate the tea, i realized that the chinese people have a slower and much relaxed life compared to Singapore as the chinese people is able to sit down and have time just to chill and drink tea. I can learn from the chinese people to appreciate the little things in life such as their art and tea cultures. As in singapore most of us takes things for granted such as our parents always gives us allowances and we do not have to work and save money. Thus, the tea culture taught me to appreciate the little things in life that i always take for granted. Today, we also went for shopping. From there, i learn how to bargain and to save money so that i do not over spend my budget. So, i hoped tomorrow would be a a more fun day..today was sooo boring. THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

DAY 10:
Today i had almost had quite a fright as during lunch time, me and my friends when to a roadside pushcart stall to have our lunch. As we were eating, we over heard from one of the chinese man there-with his two big dogs. He asked the stall owner whether he wanted to have dog meat as there was this small dog near the pushcart stall that the owner of the two dogs wanted to eat. The small dog was actually kinda cute! However, the stall owner said to the dog owner in mandarin, "i've got a heart i dont eat dog meat". The dog own still commanded his two dogs to help him catch the small dog, luckily after about 20 to 30 mins, the owner of the dogs finally gave up as the small dog managed to squeeze into a small hole to escape(: Thus, today i learnt about how some of the chinese people might not 'have a heart'. I am glad that singapore government has taught us to treat ANY animals well as they are living creatures to!!((: THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

DAY 9:
Today was the first time we got to move around the city of Tianjin all by ourselves! We have learnt to be more independent since we came into China. Without our parents here, i have learnt to be more independent such as washing my own clothes, learning financial planning, cleaning up my room and taking care of others and myself too. We have grown to be an adult doing almost everything by ourselves. OH! And i almost lost my ipod too. Luckily, my friend had kept it for me.This teaches me to be more responsible for my items and not always rely on my friends as they might not always be there to help me.THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:
