.:DAY 8:.

DAY 8:
Today i was late for class as i overslept(im not gonna give a lousy excuse). I guess what i learn today is time management! With the daily routine of school from 830am to1130am-130pm to 530pm-730pm to 900pm. However it has been a really packed and enjoyable week in china, learning alot about different values, cultural differences and traditions. I learn more about what my weaknesses, people's weaknesses and how to use their personality to my advantage. Today i realise that i know that im starting to get disappointed with some of my groupmates, however this teaches me how to control myself even etter and it also tells me alot about my groupmates. So, mainly today i learn about myself and hw i learn to be more tolerant and to give and take at time. Plus, i also should wake up early as i would miss what is being taught in class. .:DAY 7:.

DAY 7:
The most important decisions in life aren't the easiest. Thats what i learned from my chinese cultural class today. The teacher showed us a video about how someone have to choose between love and her career, she either has to break up with her boyfriend or to quit her job to be with her boyfriend. Thus, i learned today that life is full of decisions that has to be made. Our decisions affect our lives directly, Thus its about doing what we love the most and not doing what others want us to do. Though sometimes it might seem that people put us down at times, we have to choose whether we want to sit there and admit that we're weak or to stand up for ourselves and prove others wrong. Today might be a very mundane day, however looking back at what i learned today might just be the most important lesson in life. THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

.:DAY 5:.

DAY 5:
As the cool wind blew across my white pale face, the sunlight pierce my skin as i scroll along the food street today i saw lots of old Chinese cultural artifacts being sold. I realize that the Chinese people are very proud of their race and country as i saw that they were selling their traditional items such as pots and calligraphy brushes. From my experience i can learn from the Chinese people to be proud of Singapore as a country and to be also proud to be a Chinese person((: ANYWAYS! its was really a great day today as most of us got our face being drawn by the roadside artist. The Chinese people have such great skill in art! Compared to Singapore we lack of such 'home grown' skills, most of us only have academic skills however we lack the support from our people to create new talents. Thus, we should learn from the Chinese people to create new talents as an advantage for us(: Today i learn that i shouldn't be afraid of doing something i want to do and to support my peers on their interests and ideas(: THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

.:DAY 4:.

DAY 4:
It was a bright and sunny morning today as i woke up today, i looked through my hotel window and suprisingly saw security guards having a parade before they start of their day. We dont see such things practised by singapore's security guards. This shows that the chinese are very respectful and appreciative of their jobs, be it a lowly paid hotel security guard or a university school lecturer. From my observation and experience here in china i can learn to have the attitude of the hotel security guards being respectful and appreciative of people around me. I can also use this atitude in my studies to improve my grades and to score in my modules(: THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

.:DAY 3:.

DAY 3:
As i got used to the lifestyle here in china with the cold weather here, i observed the people here that they are much more relax and less stressed than people in singapore. such as they don't walk very fast-instead of people in singapore which walked like they are in a rush. LOL. anyways today was really a great day as today was my first official APPG lesson in china(: learned much faster this way with the help of my friends(: hmmm..Today as i when to their flea market i realized that the people in china really work hard for a living. They stand in the cold weather with really cold wind just to earn a few bucks to survive. I also learned not to take things for granted as our parents worked hard for a living just to bring us up. So i wanna learn from these chinese people here to work hard for what i want(: THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

.:DAY 2:.

DAY 2:
Today after a nice long sleep, i woke up at 800 in the morning. We went to the macdonalds to have our breakfast there found out that their hash-brown has much less oil than singapore. Which is a good sign(: HAHAHA anywaysss..we had our orientation after that at Tian-Jin university we got to know our china partners that were bringing us around the campus. i learned today that China food is really cheap as during lunch we had our lunch today at one of their canteen and we all ate ALOT, 9 of us only paid 60rmb in total. Though we might may be able to afford the mean with ease, we have to know that the people in China do not earn much thus might be expensive to them, so we must learn to be humble and avoid being arrogant(: THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY((:

.:DAY 1:.

DAY 1:
Was really really tiring after traveling for about 7hrs, i learned alot about the culture differences between China and Singapore, one example would be the differences of cleanliness in the airport toilet. In Singapore we have clean, nice smelling toilets while china has the opposite. IM NOT COMPARING THO(: just saying. hahaha((: from this i learn that we have to learn and adapt to different cultures by experiencing them! OH OH!! one more thing! during the airport transfer we almost missed our flight as we when to the wrong terminal:( HOWEVER! one of our friend managed to be observant enough to find out that we were in the wrong terminal. we managed to run for flight in time. This teaches me to more observant of my surroundings next time(: and...we arrived at our "guest house" which turned out to a quite nice hotel sooo things turned out to be quite good in the end(: THATS.THE.WAY.LAH.THATS.THE.WAY(:
